Door on the Rift is a thriller percolating up from the intersection of science fiction and fairytale, where a mysterious disappearance sets off a chain of ghostly apparitions, tears in the fabric of reality, and a journey from this world into another. Set in the ruinous beauty of the American Rustbelt, it’s a journey fraught with paradox as two characters, a reluctant guide and a desperate skeptic, search for someone who may not wish to be found. As truth, time, and reality itself are reduced to a single question of faith, it becomes clear that the threat of annihilation is just as much a matter of the soul as the body.
